• Our History - Over 40 Years of Experience in Career Education

  Founded in 1977, SJVC has 14 campuses located throughout California — plus an online division — and offers more than 20 accelerated certificate and associate of science degree programs in the business, medical and technical fields.

• Accelerated Career Training

  SJVC courses are offered year-round to best serve the professional needs of our students. Classes are available in the morning, afternoon and evening to accommodate working students. Most associate of science degree programs can be completed in about 14 months, and certificate programs in approximately 7 months. All general education, theoretical coursework and practical experience (including externships and clinical time requirements) are included in this accelerated system.

• Accreditation

  SJVC is accredited by the Accrediting Commission for Community and Junior Colleges, Western Association of Schools and Colleges, an institutional accrediting body recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation and the U.S. Department of Education.

• Financial Aid

  Financial Aid is available to qualified students and includes federal grants, loans, work-study, scholarships and institutional payment plans.
